The Creators
This idea, this strange wonderful idea, is the brainchild of some of the greatest minds in IB (shown below).
Maria M.
One of the masterminds behind this crazy operation, Maria is the supplier.
She's got the goods, goods being bicycles, which allowed us to even concieve this idea. Being a Junior in the WInter Park High School IB program, she is a key member of the group.
Gabrielle M.
Every group needs a realist, someone to keep everyone's feet on the ground, and Gabrielle is that realist. If something isn't working, she makes sure to address the problem. Also a Junior in the Winter Park High School IB Program, she is an integral part in the success of this group.
Dmitriy N.
Being the only senior in the group, Dmitriy has already gone through this process. He is the wise old man of the group, offering the knowledge and advice he has obtained over the years. A Senior in the Winter Park High School IB Program, he is irreplacible.
Valentina M.
With an explosive personality and a creative mind, she is the driving force in the group. Always enthusiatic to work and present her ideas, she is the life force of this group. Also a Junior in the WInter Park High School IB Program, Valentina is a crucial member to this group.
Madelaine S.
The responsible one, Madelaine makes sure that we meet the deadlines. She pushes us all so that we are the best we can be. Without her, we would be stuck, going nowhere. Also a Junior in the Winter Park High School IB Program, she is a required asset to this group.
iThe Teachers
Mr. Daniel Bertossa- Considered a physics god among his students, this Physics teacher takes sophmores who know nothing about the subject and reforms them into the brilliant students we are. Also the Crew Coach at WInter Park High School, it is amazing that he finds the time to advise us in our endevours.
Mrs. Sarah Critcher- This Biology teacher is the hub of everything ISTF. She is always open to provide her guidance and answer any questions we may have about ISTF. How she puts up with our shenanigans and problems, we may never know.
Mr. Barry Creighton- This Higher level Biology teacher is a crucial part in the success of this operation. His relaxed demeanor and wisdom is infectious, assuring us that everything will be a-ok. In addition, he will answer any question we throw at him, sometimes with a bit of sarcasm as an added bonus.
iThe Technical Advisors
This year, we were lucky enough to have not one, not two, but four wonderful technical advisors.
Mr. Yier Jin- A returning technical advisor, Assistant Professor Yier Jin already has experience in ISTF. It is an absolute honor having him lead us again this year. His expertise in Physics and Electrical Engineering make him the perfect technical advisor. We are forever in his debt, and we thank him in all the help he has given us.
Mr. Paul Alvarez- Still young, Mr. Paul Alvarez is able to provide his novel ideas and insight to this project. What he lacks in experience, he compensates with dedication and avalablility. Being more than experienced in Physics and Chemistry, he is a perfect technical advisor for this project. He has been a tremendous help in this project, and we thank him for all of the time he has spent working with us.
Mrs. Ahlam Al-Rawi- Mrs. Ahlam Al-Rawi, being experienced in the field of physics, is more than an acceptable candidate for a technical advisor. She is always open to questions, and she makes sure to point out the flaws in our project that we have overlooked. For all of the help she has brought us, we thank her.
Mr. Jim Atkinson- Mr. Jim Atkinson, with all of the knowledge he has, has directed us in our project in incalculable ways. Being experienced in Physics, he is a solid candidate for the position of Technical Advisor. For all the time he has commited to us, we thank him.
